Many of us cultivate basil in pots or gardens to harvest its precious fresh leaves. It’s incredibly fragrant and possesses numerous health benefits, acting as an antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, stimulant, diuretic, and carminative. These properties remain intact even when using dried basil.

But how does this relate to your plants? It’s quite relevant! Basil’s virtues can contribute to the lymphatic circulation of vegetation, toning and promoting the emergence of new shoots and the blooming of existing ones. It enriches the raw sap absorbed by the roots from the soil, nourishing the entire plant. To use it effectively, however, you must first dry it – two days in the sun or three hours in the oven at 50°C, spreading the leaves well apart.

Once dried, finely grind them in a blender or mortar. Now, let’s make an infusion. Boil water and pour a tablespoon of dried basil into each cup. Let it steep for 15 minutes, strain, and let it cool completely.
