Demi Moore has given a heartbreaking update on her ex-husband Bruce Willis.
The 61-year-old iconic actor was honored with the Career Achievement in Acting Awards during the 2024 Hamptons International Film Festival.
During the live discussion afterwards celebrating the award, The Substance actress was questioned about her ex.
Speaking of his disease, frontotemporal dementia (FTD) she said; “You know, I’ve said this before. The disease is what the disease is. And I think you have to be in real deep acceptance of what that is,”. Adding; “But for where he’s at, he is stable.”
“What I always encourage is to just meet them where they’re at. When you’re holding on to what was, I think it’s a losing game,” she shared.
“But when you show up to meet them where they’re at, there is great beauty and sweetness.”
The iconic couple were married from 1987 to 2000 and have 3 children together – Rumer, 36, Scout, 33 and Talulah, 30.
She is focused on “being able to share with whatever we have, for however long we have it.”
It was announced in March 2022 that he was retiring from acting and it was revealed the following February that it was due to his illness.
