Lara Trump teed off on a poll watching scandal that involves a lawsuit. It was reported that poll watchers who applied for a specific poll watching position had a significantly smaller amount of Republicans accepted, compared to the insanely high number of Democrats accepted. Washington Examiner pointed out some details in a news article about it:
Trump also detailed a lawsuit the RNC is filing in Michigan, which is related to the hiring of poll workers in Wayne County. Of the 700 trained Republican poll workers who applied to work, only 50 were hired compared to the 2,300 Democratic poll workers who were hired.
The RNC co-chairwoman then issued a warning to anyone “who is attempting to cheat in our elections,” saying that the RNC will “track you down and will prosecute you to the full extent of the law.”
“We’re watching everything, we’re filing lawsuits when necessary, and we’re making sure we have people everywhere votes are being cast and counted to have eyes on everything,” Trump said.
