Five-year-old Sunshine Oelfke from Ishpeming, Michigan, did something truly special when she found out one of her friends couldn’t afford milk at school. Without hesitation, she broke open her piggy bank, packed the money in a baggie, and brought it to school to pay for her friend’s milk.
When her mom found out, she was deeply moved. And when she learned that several other children also couldn’t afford milk, she decided to help too—donating her own commissions from work to cover the cost.
But Sunshine didn’t stop there. She started a GoFundMe page with a goal of raising $700 to pay for her entire class’s milk for the semester. And this sweet little girl’s kindness touched so many hearts that she raised over $7,000!
One small act of generosity turned into something much bigger, proving that even the smallest hands can make the biggest difference.
