Woman Was ‘Fighting for Her Life’ and Got Numerous Health Warnings During Terrifier 3 Screening

A woman was left ‘fighting for her life’ and received multiple health warnings on her Apple Watch while watching Terrifier 3.

The movie follows the story of Art the Clown, played by David Howard Thornton who has returned from the dead to cause more terrifying chaos.

However, fans of horror have been left feeling uneasy while watching the new release. Nine people walked out of the UK Gala Premiere after only seeing the first scene.

One fan even claims to have had multiple heart rate warnings from her apple watch while sat in the theatre.

Sharing on social media, she said: “Was fighting for my life tonight during Terrifier 3 and loved every second.”

According to the NHS, a regular resting heart rate for an adult is between 60 and 100 beats per minute.

In the woman’s post, it shows her heart rate reached above 120.

Scary though this may seem, according to the American Heart Association, its normal for your heart rate to rise ‘when a person is frightened or perceived to be in danger’.

“The brain triggers a surge of adrenaline, which makes the heart beat faster and pushes the body instantly into ‘fight-or-flight’ mode,”

“It also affects the liver and pancreas, triggers perspiration and pushes blood toward major muscle groups.”

Doctor Vincent Bufalino, a cardiologist and president of Advocate Medical Group, said; “It’s measured on how big the scare is,”

“You can have a sudden cardiac-related event related to an adrenaline surge, but I think it would be a stretch to say you could get that from someone coming in a werewolf costume to your front door.

“This is the kind of thing that you can’t prepare for. If it happens, it happens, and you hope your body doesn’t overreact to that event.”

If you have a pre-existing heart condition, this may be something worth speaking to your doctor about.

Would you risk going to see it?
